Fitting a door to a car. Except the entire rocker is gone and the door frame and all this crap needs to be welded on. I hope I dont screw up...lots of things to align before welding.

So what’s your expected completion time for your project? Because it looks like you still have quite a long way to go.

1954 ford? Sheet metal alignment is a tricky thing. Isn't it nice to have someone like EMS still making patch parts for old stuff like that? We've got a few EMS products in my 49 build.

yeah it is tricky especially a door that needs to open right and connects to and needs proper gaps to so many parts. Ems parts are great! They use thick metal properly stamp stuff and its all made in usa I believe also they galvanize or zinc dip everything.

for this project? hard to say maybe a week if I worked on it 6+ hours a day. it looks much worse yes its a serious repair not many people would do but its also this area where placement of each part lines up or connects with another or multiple parts so once I get stuff in place each other will weld in really fast.

I'll have a large enough life insurance policy where I can get a brown wagon stances and have Oppositelock stickers and such on it. Towing a trailer made from a chopped up Miata. That'll do it.
